Contact your GP online with PATCHS

Dear Patient,

As a patient at Glen Road Medical Practice we value your health and helping to give you a great service, despite the current constraints on our NHS.

We’ve paid for a new system - PATCHS, which has innovative features including language translation to make accessing healthcare better for you. PATCHS is an online consultation system that lets you contact your GP and by answering a few simple questions to get you help with health advice, fit notes, medications and more.

Don’t worry, this will be very similar to our previous service with accuRx.

This will go LIVE from Monday 19th August 8am.

To use PATCHS, you will visit our website as usual and follow the PATCHS link.

The one thing you need to do in advance is to complete your NHS App registration so that you can get the care you need when you need it. When you log in via your NHS App you can also request repeat prescriptions easily, view your hospital appointments and results, as well as a record of your previous online form submissions and the advice that was given.

NHS England is keen for all patients (who are digitally able) to be registered and more functionality will be coming in the future so we highly recommend signing up today.

To register for the NHS app you will need photo identification. Please watch this video for clear guidance: Register with the NHS app: Quick guide

If you do not have a valid ID, don’t worry, you can request your ODS Code, account ID and Linkage Key by contacting our reception.

If you have trouble signing up to your NHS App our staff will be on hand to help you.

Thank you,

Glen Road Medical Centre Team
