The First 4 Health Group currently serves over 49,900 patients across 5 sites in the London Borough of Newham.
The currently operate from the following sites:
We have a strong clinical leadership, development and support structure, which with centralised management, finance, operations and population health teams ensures that we provide a high and consistent standard of care across all of our sites. This structure allows us the resilience of a larger organisation and the close knit supportive relationships of a smaller team. We care about eachother and it shows in everything that we do.
The health and wellbeing of all our staff and the learning and developmental culture that we have cultivated over the years is really important to us. We are an inclusive, patient focused organisation that collaboratively focuses on the support, growth and development of all of our staff and teams. Our organisational developmental attitude is reflected in our CQC ratings - Outstanding in the Well-Lead category at Church Road Health.
Two of our larger practices within the First 4 Health Group (CRH and SVS) are training practices, and E7 Health is due to become a training practice in the near future. Our aim is for all of our practices to become training practices. We are actively involved with the CCG, ICS, our local federation and 3 Primary Care Networks.
We are continually trying to improve patient services and access and so we try new ways of doing things. We have previously been ranked as a 'Healthcare 100' Employer by HSJ. We are delighted to announce that our work with Healthtech 1 has been shortlisted for GP Provider of the Year award at the #HSJAwards 2021. We recently received the NEL Workforce Award 2022 for the use of technology to improve working lives and efficiency. Â
We are committed to ensuring that all patients receive the best possible care and reducing health inequalities, which is reflected in our CQC Outstanding rating in our care of Vulnerable Patients at Church Road Health.
We are constantly innovating and are focused on creating interesting and innovative community based healthcare projects to improve the lives of our patients. We  have recently been awarded a substantial grant to work on a maternal healthcare project which we believe will make a huge difference to the way in which we support families. https://sbrihealthcare.co.uk/news/sbri-healthcare-awards-900000-to-accelerate-innovations-that-narrow-inequalities-in-maternity-care/
We are looking for motivated and caring GP's to join our bank of GP Locums. Come work with us and know that by doing so you will make a difference to Newham.
‍
Our team is composed of highly trained and passionatly committed Patient and Digital Care Navigators, Healthcare Assistants, Nurse Associates, Practice Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic, Physcian Associates, Social Prescribers, Health & Wellbeing Coaches, & Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians, all of whom support our GPs by minimising paperwork including prescriptions and filtering documents which means that our GP’s have more time to treat patients.
We have excellent clinical teams at all of our sites who meet on a weekly basis at clinical and non-clinical team meetings to manage and continually improve our patient care. Â
‍
We use EMIS workflow and other paperless document management and remote access systems to support the flexible working of our clinical teams. We fully support our clinicians to work from home on selected days - providing Organisation Laptop’s with all the necessary software installed and Emis access dongles to support remote working.Â
All of the sites operate as independent units, however, we work closely together to facilitate the efficient management of the group practice by using standard IT, Training and Clinical policies and procedures. Â
Although most staff are mainly based at one location we are able to use EMIS Web and our own internal GP practice management system - OneRoom across all of our sites to facilitate the provision of excellent healthcare to our patients and support our staff across all 4 sites.
We also provide Business Parking permits if you use your own vehicle to drive into work and work across sites for more than 3 days a week.
‍
